We are working with a highly respected Engineering and Building Services consultancy firm who are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor in the South West of England to join their IMS team. This is an internally focused position, reporting into the Risk & Compliance Manager. The position has responsibility for the Health & Safety across the company including all 12 offices, as well as reviewing and improving their internal management systems.
The Role:
Responsible for providing advice on all Health & Safety matters across the organisation
Engage effectively with SHE Representatives across all the offices
Maintain and continually improve the in-house SHE processes and procedures
Create and review risk assessments and method statements and support and document incident / accident investigations
The Candidate:
4+ years of Health & Safety experience within a Construction or Consultancy environment
NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety
Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the enthusiasm to grow and continue developing professionally
Be commutable to the Bristol office, with willingness to travel to other sites nationally, as and when required
