We are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing organisation, who are looking to appoint an H&S Officer at their site in Birmingham. You will be responsible for continuing to drive health & safety standards forward across the site. A brilliant opportunity to join a company who have seen impressive growth over the past few years and are very supportive on personal development.

The Role:

  • Support and guide on various site H&S matters
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the site, promoting the development of a positive culture and best practice
  • Audit site-based management systems to ensure full compliance
  • Contribute to the implementation, monitoring and measurement of the HSE strategy

    • The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within an HSE role within a manufacturing environment
  • NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent NVQ
  • Ability to strongly influence various internal stakeholders
  • Experience / knowledge of PUWER, LOLER is desirable
  • Experience of ISO 14001, 18001 / 45001 is very desirable
