An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading civil engineering/rail company to work on a large rail project based in East London area. Whilst the position will be based on the one project there will be the opportunity to assist across the wider business and other rail, civil engineering, and specialist construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong health & safety background within the rail sector have to have a live or previously held a PTS Card. 

The Role:

  • Understand the Company Health & Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures
  • Lead in preparing and developing the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Plan
  • Undertake site SHE inspections as directed.
  • Set standards and lead by example in the management of SHE
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences, near misses and other incidents.

The Candidate:

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in Health & Safety with a rail environment.
  • NEBOSH Certificate minimum
  • Valid Sentinel Card or PTS Card
  • Tech IOSH
  • Enthusiastic professional who is always looking to grow and progress in their SHE career.
