SHEQ Manager

SHEQ Manager| Tewkesbury | £45,000 + Benefits

Irwin & Colton have been engaged by a specialist construction contractor who are looking to identify a SHEQ Manager in a role for their energy, communications & special projects team. The company is going from strength to strength works with some of the UK's largest companies.

The role will report directly to the Managing director of the business. Responsibilities of the SHEQ Manager will include:

• Engaging with site leaders, influencing, and coaching key internal and external stakeholders including the client to effect change.
• Undertaking audits, inspections and ensure the health, safety and environment policies and systems are implemented at site level.
• Constantly assessing opportunities for improvement and sharing best practice across the organisation.

The successful SHEQ Manager will have:

• Proven, extensive knowledge within construction or civil engineering.
• Experience in engaging at all levels from senior management to site level operational staff.
• NEBOSH / NCRQ Certificate rather than diploma
• A relevant membership of IOSH status essential.

Experience of ISO Standards is highly advantageous.
