Fire Safety Manager

Shirley Parsons are partnered with a leading Education establishment that have an opening for a Fire Safety Manager. This role will see the successful candidate supporting a wide range of departments and staff on Fire Safety practices. The role is based in London and will suit candidates with an engaging approach and the ability to build rapport at all levels. The Fire Safety Manager will have line management responsibilities and will suit candidates who have previously managed a team.

The Role:

• Develop, implement and manage the organisation's Fire Safety policies and procedures
• Create and deliver a range of Fire Safety training 
• Investigate and report on all fire incidents, accidents and near misses 
• Conduct a range of fire risk assessments across the premises and ensure these are appropriately reviewed

The Candidate:

• Knowledge and experience of British Standards Codes and Building Regulation (BS-9999)
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate minimum; registered with IFE or equivalent body
• A minimum of five years experience in Fire Safety roles
• Experience in the education sector or complex environments
