Fire Safety Advisor

Shirley Parsons are partnered with a leading Education establishment that have an opening for a Fire Safety Advisor. This role will see the successful candidate supporting a wide range of departments and staff on Fire Safety practices. The role is based in London and will suit candidates with an engaging approach and drive to further develop a career in Fire Safety. The Fire Safety Advisor will play an active role in the Fire Safety Team and report into the Fire Safety Manager.

The Role:

• Assist in the development and implementation of the organisation's Fire Safety policies and procedures
• Develop and deliver a range of Fire Safety training 
• Investigate and report on all fire incidents, accidents and near misses 
• Conduct a range of fire risk assessments across the property portfolio and deliver follow up reports

The Candidate:

• Knowledge and understanding of British Standards Codes and Building Regulation (BS-9999)
• NEBOSH Fire Certificate minimum; registered with IFE or equivalent body
• Experience of conducting fire risk assessments
• Experience in the education sector or complex environments
