Hays have been exclusively engaged by a global real estate consultancy with a head office in London, who are looking to expand their current health & safety team, by appointing a brand new role - Senior Health & Safety Manager.

Your new role
As the Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will report directly into the COO and take the strategic lead across all the business units. Working closely within the real estate team you will lead on the H&S management system, audit programme, reporting of H&S, training programmes and overall guidance and advice. In your role you will be responsible for influencing culture, establishing a strong H&S committee and ensuring the best standards are achieved throughout the companies operations. This is an exciting new senior level role, will progression opportunities and exposure with senior level stakeholders. This is a stand-alone role with no direct reports at present, but it may develop into a role with small team line management responsibility. This role is London based with home-working options, although some national travel will be required to the larger offices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold ideally a NEBOSH Diploma level qualification (or equivalent) with at least GradIOSH status with a view of working towards CMIOSH. You will need to be able to evidence a track record in senior management within H&S including legislation, management systems and culture development. Experience of working within the commercial property or corporate sector would also be a bonus.
