Health & Safety Advisor | London | Permanent | £40,000 - £50,000 plus package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety professional to join a leading civil engineering company working within their HSEQ team to deliver on a tunnelling project in Central London. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a tunnelling project and seeking to join a business where they can continue to grow professionally.
The Role:
To support the development of a strong Health and Safety focused culture across the project and promote good safety behaviours
To be an expert in Health and Safety legislation and best practice to assist with compliance and continuous improvement
To support the development of measurement systems to ensure that Health and Safety performance are accurately monitored
To liaise with employees, subcontractors and suppliers on Health and Safety matters as required
To identify possible operational risks or opportunities and work with central Health and Safety Team to ensure an appropriate and effective response
To support the development of briefing and communication strategies to ensure that the Health and Safety plan and important information is understood and operated by all employees and subcontractors
To promote company values in all dealings with other employees, clients, subcontractors and other external contacts
The Candidate:
3 years + health & safety experience
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is desired
Grad IOSH
Experience working on a tunnelling project
Enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is looking to further their career in health & safety
