We are working exclusively with a leading Construction Consultancy who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing team. Based on a reputable project in West Yorkshire, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving a positive health and safety culture throughout the site, whilst building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Suitable candidates will be have experience in a Health and Safety role within a civil engineering environment and have a forward-thinking approach to their way of working. All suitable applicants must hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification as a minimum qualification and have the right to work in the UK.


The Role:

  • Carry out audits and inspections to ensure Health and Safety Compliance on the project
  • Collaborate closely with the Client and Contractor's of the project to ensure demands are met
  • Build relationships with the wider site team to influence a positive health and safety culture
  • Support the wider management teams on site
  • Understand the company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

The Candidate:

  • Experience within a civil engineering or construction project environment in a health and safety role
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
  • TechIOSH status as a minimum
  • A collaborative working style
  • Strong communication skills
