QHSE Manager

QHSE Manager | North West |Travel across UK required

Permanent | £30,000 - £40,000 plus package 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety professional to join a specialist rail maintenance company who are based in Greater Manchester but cover multiple sites across the UK. The role is an excellent opportunity for someone to continue to grow their knowledge and experienced working in Health & Safety. The ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH/NCRQ qualification and have 1 -2 years hands on experience within a civil engineering/construction environment but flexible around the right candidate. 

The Role:

• Working on multiple sites across the UK, building relationships with site teams 
• Carry out site induction, audits and inspections when required
• Investigate any accidents or near misses
• Working closely with the current standalone QHSE Director in the implementation of the QHSE strategy 
• Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the organisation 
• Continuous improve own level of knowledge with changing H&S legislation 

The Candidate:

• 1-2 years experience working in Health & Safety 
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent  
• Ideally have hands on experience working in civil engineering/construction or rail environments 
• Must be happy to travel across UK in this position
