Rail Safety Manager

South East

I have an exciting opportunity for a Rail Health & Safety Manager to join one of the country’s leading specialist civil engineering & utilities companies working on several rail projects across the UK, the majority of the projects are based across the South East. The ideal candidate will have strong rail knowledge, seeking a position where they can be hands on and travel for a position. 

The Role:

  • Assist the senior leaderships team with implementation of HSEQ strategy 
  • Maintenance and continuous developing of the ISO management systems 
  • Assisting with the migration to ISO 45001 
  • To lead, direct and mentor HSEQ support personnel.
  • To promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Work as part of a wider HSEA team and deputise for the Senior HSEQ Manager when required

    • The Candidate:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent 
  • Grad IOSH or working towards CMIOSH 
  • Previous experience working in the rail sector 
  • Working knowledge of RISQS
  • Auditing experience or qualification
