Your new company
A national home improvement manufacturer and installation company are in the need of a new Health & Safety Manager to lead their operations across the UK. From their head office in Hertfordshire to factories in both the South of England and South Wales and installations happening across the UK, this company is well placed in the market.

Your new role
This role supports the leadership team in developing health, safety and environmental standards across the business. You will be responsible for setting strategic frameworks for managing standards, providing technical advice on all HSE matters and ensuring systems, policies and procedures are in place and fully supportive of a collaborative and continuously improving HSE culture. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will have full scope of responsibility across the organisation from head office, factory sites and the installation team. You will be responsible for training programmes, reports for board, inductions, strategic plans, providing general guidance and more... This is a stand-alone position at present, but their is potential for team growth.This role will require you to manage your own diary allowing for travel within the UK and will also offer some homeworking options.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to hold a minimum NEBOSH Certificate and have previous experience leading HSE across an organisation ideally in the manufacturing environment. An IEMA qualification would also be highly desirable. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work off their own initiative, ultimately a prominent driver in safety change.

What you'll get in return
In return you will get a base salary of around £60k plus a comprehensive benefits package.
