Sustainability Data Analyst
London, Leeds, Manchester, or Birmingham | £38,000 plus excellent benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading organisation within the property and real estate sector to recruit a Sustainability Data Analyst. This position will help to drive sustainability decision making forward through analyzing major data sets across sustainability including energy, carbon, water, safety and social data; with a particular focus on real estate transactions and due diligence.

This roll will primarily focus on identifying new ways to interpret, standardise, communicate, and report on this data. It is not essential that the successful candidate has any experience in sustainability, however a passion for this and desire to drive improvement is essential.

Responsibilities for the Sustainability Data Analyst will include:

  • Working with the team to analyse the data which is being collected and identifying trends and key pieces of information
  • Communicating and reporting data to the key stakeholders, constantly looking for ways to improve and standardise this process
  • Leading a strategic project to understand current data collection processes, as well as current and anticipated data needs
  • Implementing and developing management strategy to enable sustainability data collection affectively whilst ensuring timely submission of data

The successful Sustainability Data Analyst will have:

  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst role ideally with some experience across environment, sustainability, or community engagement data
  • High understanding of data collection, reporting and analysis systems including database building and data mining
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is desirable
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach, with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A related degree (or equivalent) and membership of a relevant membership bodies
