Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor
Location: Travel to sites across London & South East England
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Car or Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's leading hard facilities management companies to recruit a Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor. This is a great opportunity to work for a forward-thinking organisation who are leaders in their field.

The position will join an established Safety, Health & Environmental team. This will be a varied role, in a dynamic, fast paced environment covering a portfolio across London and the South East of England.

Responsibilities for the Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor will include:

  • Travel to sites across London and the South East, delivering a regular inspection and audit program, ensuring the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment policies
  • Working closely with the Health, Safety and Environment team to identify areas for performance improvement and creating ideas to take advantage of these
  • Accurately reporting on Health and Safety performance, investigating and accidents and incidents, identifying the root cause
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies

The successful Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor candidate will have:

  • Ideally experience in a similar role with relevant sector experience (eg. Hard FM, facilities management, property, building services, maintenance or a related industry)
  • Experience with management systems -ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally membership of IOSH
  • Good communications skills with experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance and regulations
