Project Health & Safety Advisor 

Berkshire 

£40,000 - £60,000 plus package 

12 month FTC 

 

We're currently working with one of the UK's largest principal contractors in a search for a Project H&S Advisor to join a team and work on a £20 million+ energy from waste project. The role will be work alongside the Project Lead in the support and implementation of the Health & Safety strategy. This is a 12 month fixed term position so candidate will need to be available and happy with a site focused position. This will potentially include weekend work for the duration of the project. 

 

The Role:

  • Responsible for working with site team to grow a strong and robust Health & Safety culture

  • Deputise for the Project Lead when required

  • Building strong and sustainable relationships with site teams in this project based position 

  • Assist in the implementation and development of the Health & Safety strategy 

The Candidate:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in Health & Safety

  • Previous experience work on an infrastructure project (construction or civil engineering)

  • Previous experience with energy would be an advantage 

  • NEBOSH Certificate minimum 

  • Minimum Grad IOSH (working towards CMIOSH would be beneficial)
