An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy as a Divisional SHEQ Lead. This is an internal facing role, leading a division on H&S strategy, ensuring compliance in line with the company's SHEQ management systems. Reporting into the SHEQ Director and line managing a team of 3 or 4 Advisors, this role will see you working across a range of business divisions driving initiatives and audit programmes.
** This role will ideally be based in either Hertfordshire or Cambridgeshire **
The Role of the Divisional SHEQ Lead will be:Managing SHEQ strategy and driving this throughout a range of business units in the divisionWorking with Directors, Managers, and staff, advising in all areas of SHEQWork to improve SHEQ standards across the division, developing resources and implementing and achieving SHEQ objectivesAudit to ensure Group SHEQ legislation is adhered to and ensure all business units are updated on changes in legislation and policy
The Divisional SHEQ Lead will have:Experience working at a strategic level in a SHEQ role, covering multiple locationsExperience of operating at a senior level within SHEQ within large scale organisations Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent (desirable) GradIOSH/CMIOSH (TechIOSH candidates will also be considered with relevant experience) Excellent communication skills and experience managing a team
