Job Details
Shirley Parsons is partnered with a leading facilities management organisation that have an opening for a Fire Safety Manager. This role will see the successful candidate act as the lead competent person for all fire safety issues. The role is based in Portsmouth and will suit candidates with an engaging approach and the ability to build rapport at all levels.
The Fire Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop, implement and manage the organisation's Fire Safety policies and procedures
- Ensure that fire safety statutory compliance is co-ordinated and maintained
- Investigate and report on all fire incidents, accidents and near misses
- Deliver fire safety reports and conduct audits
The Successful Fire Safety Manager will have:
- Up to date knowledge, understanding and experience of fire safety legislation
- NEBOSH Fire Certificate minimum; registered with IFE or equivalent body
- A minimum of five years experience in Fire Safety roles
- Experience in Healthcare or other complex environments
