Health and Safety Auditor (Assessor)
Location: Home based two days per week, office based in Plymouth three days per week
Salary: £26,000 -£28,000
Assured Safety Recruitment are partnering with an industry leading Audit and Verification Provider to appoint a Health and Safety Auditor (Assessor). The business works with a wide variety of commercial organisations from large blue-chips to small SME’s. You will work as an External Assessor, auditing prospective client’s health and safety procedures and documentation against a nationally recognised standard scheme and producing reports and feedback.
The employer will provide you with both in-house and external Health and Safety Assessor training and there are future opportunities to expand your skill-set and self-development through external training. This role is suited to individuals who are compliance focused with a strong attention to detail.
You may be working as Health and Safety Coordinator, Health and Safety Advisor, Health and Safety Consultant or similar currently. As part of your role you will have had experience of managing and auditing a variety of property related subcontractors for example some of the following; M&E, Fit-out, Heating and Electrical, Building/Property Maintenance, Scaffolding etc.
You must hold the Nebosh Certificate/Nebosh Construction Certificate or another Level 3 qualification and have two years post qualification health and safety experience.
