Health & Safety Manager - Permanent - £45,000 - Property & Estates


Your new company

I am currently working with a client based in Liverpool who have an exciting opportunity for you to join a well-established Estates & Property organisation as a Health & Safety Manager. This organisation puts development and recognition at the forefront of everything they do and pride themselves on their teamwork and leadership.

Your new role

The main purpose of your role will be to oversee all Health & Safety matters across the organisation and it's estate. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your main responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies, accident and incident management and reporting, communication with insurers where relevant and supporting the training and development of staff. You will also continue to implement and demonstrate positive behavioural safety measures across the business, provide advice and guidance to staff at all levels and be responsible for 4 direct reports within the Technical Department.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a NEBOSH qualification as a minimum and have demonstrable experience within a similar role. A recent role within safety in the retail or leisure industry is highly desirable, or a role working with the public. You will have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, have had exposure to managing permits to work and be able to manage stakeholder and client relationships. You will be a team player, flexible in your approach to work and have the ability to work under pressure.

This is a fantastic, permanent opportunity for you to join a well-established organisation on a permanent basis. Salary circa £45,000 with full time hours 8-5 with 1 hour for lunch. 25 days plus bank holidays, pension scheme, Medicash and discount schemes.
