Senior HSE Advisor

An international engineering and infrastructure organisation is looking for a Senior HSE Advisor to join their team, with plans to step up into a HSE Manager position in due course. The role is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow the existing relationships, culture, and team in regard to HSE, and will suit a dynamic and switched-on professional. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be comfortable travelling to various sites across the UK as well as maintaining management systems and producing policies and procedures.

The Role:

• Travel to various operational sites across the UK, working closely with the projects teams to improve and ensure compliance and positive behaviours
• Carry out inspections, risk assessments, and audits across projects and UK offices
• Produce and carry out relevant HSE training across the business
• Maintain and improve existing HSE management systems, processes, policies, and procedures
• Support the management team in developing and maintaining a positive approach to HSE, driving the implementation of standards and initiatives across the business

The Candidate:

• Hold the NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
• Diploma level qualification will be beneficial
• Experience within a HSE role in the utilities, energy, oil and gas, or M&E sectors
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to work hands-on with all levels of the business
