Site HSEQ Advisor

We are partnering exclusively with a leading energy/oil and gas business and currently have a few great opportunities for Site HSEQ Advisors to join their team in Plymouth, Cambridgeshire, Essex, and South Wales. These positions are a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that has a strong buy-in to health and safety and is committed to developing and supporting their people. These roles offer a lot of variety and the chance to drive a positive health and safety culture across the site and wider company, and are looking for candidates who are commutable to one of these sites as it's likely you will be there 4-5 days a week. The ideal candidate will come from a high risk industry such as oil and gas, manufacturing, or energy, and have prior experience of COMAH and process safety environments.

The Role:

• Offer HSEQ support across the site in order to maintain and develop a strong HSEQ culture and compliance 
• Carry out audits, inspections, and investigations across the site
• Oversee and support external contractors to ensure that they are trained and compliant against all relevant regulations on site
• Support the senior leadership team, providing reports and advice on HSEQ related matters
• Create and improve documentation such as policies, processes, and procedures
• Deliver toolbox talks and other relevant HSEQ training on site

The Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a HSEQ role, ideally in a high risk sector, oil & gas preferred
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent as a minimum
• An Engineering related degree or qualification would be beneficial
• Process safety knowledge and COMAH experience
• Enthusiastic professional who is always looking to grow and progress in their SHE career
