We have a very exciting opportunity to join a large, dynamic, and multi-disciplinary Consultancy who are looking to bring in another Construction Health & Safety and CDM Consultant into their team. Based in Northern Ireland, this role provides a unique opportunity to work across a range of projects throughout the country, offering Principal Designer and CDM Advisory services to clients. You will be joining a well-renowned organisation with a progressive culture who provide bespoke services to their clients. The business is looking for a competent and qualified CDM and Construction Health & Safety professional to join them and take the next step in their career, working on projects from new build social housing blocks and high rise office fit-outs, to infrastructure and specialist projects.

The role of the Construction Health & Safety and CDM Consultant will be to:

Ensure projects comply with CDM 2015, this is through involvement throughout the design phase and the start of various projectsAssist the client in carrying out their duties and Health & Safety management Deliver the Principal Designer duties for clients on certain projects, as well as more general CDM Advisory and Construction Health & Safety servicesAttend construction sites to complete inspections and reporting to the client

The Construction Health & Safety and CDM Consultant will have:

A degree level qualification in a construction related field with a preference for a design related degree3+ years’ post-qualification experience as a Principal Designer / Construction Health & Safety Advisor / CDM Consultant
  • A thorough knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation as well as an understanding of the design process and the principles of risk reduction
  • A NEBOSH National General / Construction Health and Safety certificate, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
