Environmental Advisor

Environmental Advisor  – Chelmsford – £28-30K

We are currently working with a Principal Contractor with an extensive environment team who is seeking an Environmental Advisor for a major infrastructure project based in Essex.  This role is a great opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience in the construction industry within a company who offers great progression and development opportunities.

The Environmental Advisor will be responsible for:

• Working  on a major construction and infrastructure project, ensuring environmental compliance and best practice is achieved across multiple sites working to the ISO 14001:2015 standard
• Manage and conduct environmental audits and provide guidance on environmental legislation 
• Monitor, analyse and report on environmental performance 
• Provide environmental guidance and training to on-site staff

The successful Environmental Advisor will have:

• Environmental degree or equivalent
• Passion for the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills to be able to drive environmental performance across sites
