£33,797 - £38,017 per annum
The role holder will assist in providing strategic and operational advice to the Campus Division and other relevant stakeholders. The role holder must have a track record in working strategically to build a positive health and safety culture. The role will include site visits, workplace investigations and audits for the Division and will work collaboratively with other stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who will use their passion, knowledge, and experience to promote and develop a positive health and safety culture across the Division, using their strong stakeholder management skills to ensure everyone in the Division and all relevant stakeholders understand their responsibilities in making the environment in which people work safe.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will lead in the strategic and operational safety planning and management for the Division, promoting and developing a safety culture so that the Division continues to meet its legal requirements in terms of compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
As one of primary points of contact for all health and safety queries, the post holder will identify, implement, and recommend areas for improvement, carrying out and reporting on statutory compliance, best practice, lead on accident investigations, risk assessments, site inspections and audits, and contributing to the successful delivery of high-level customer-focused service.

You should apply if you have experience in developing health and safety management systems, advising on projects, providing specialist advice. The post also contributes to the H&S training and audit programmes and the general work of the Health and Safety Services team, especially in emergency preparedness. Proven experience of working in a property/estates management or a facilities environment would be an advantage.
