Health and Safety Advisor

We are working exclusively with a Healthcare organisation to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor. This role is based from Inverness and involve regional travel. The Health and Safety Advisor will support the wider H&S team in the continuous improvement of Health and Safety culture throughout the organisation. The Health and Safety Advisor role will suit candidates who thrive in fast paced, complex environments. A relocation package is available.

The Health and Safety Advisor will:

• Provide general health & safety advice to Managers on Legislative requirements with focus on Fire Safety, the management of asbestos, confined spaces, permit to work, working at height and general property risk.
• Support investigations, analysis and reporting of adverse events
  
• Develop, implement, co-ordinate and undertake the Health and Safety Audit programme
• Develop and deliver a range of Health and Safety training

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Diploma/ Degree level qualified or working towards; ideally Grad IOSH
• Previous experience of working in the Healthcare/Property Management/FM sectors.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
