SHE Adviser

We are currently working exclusively with a global leading manufacturing organisation who are a market leader in their field. This is an opportunity for someone to help shape Compliance and SHE Management Systems within this organisation and collaborate with the senior leadership team.

You will lead on the implementation and development of SHE policies and procedures, in order to ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and regulations. You can be based from any of their three UK Locations in either the North-East, Yorkshire or North West.

The SHE Adviser Role:

To maintain and improve all company Safety, Health & Environmental Management systems.Lead on the effective coordination and delivery of internal Health, Safety and Quality audit functions across group operations.Represent the company internally and externally, building relationships with key stakeholdersManage a team of three direct report reports, working closely with SHEQ Management team members and other operational leaders within the business.

The SHE Adviser Candidate:

Nebosh General as a minCertificate in Environmental Management or equivalentLead Auditor training - ISO/ OHSAS Management Systems StandardsExperience gaining, maintaining and improvement SHE Management Systems in a high risk environment. Construction, manufacturing, waste, logistics, transport etc.
