Job Title: SHE Co-ordinator
Location: Basingstoke (Flexible/Agile Working Option is available with this position)

We are Kier, one of the UK’s leading construction and infrastructure services, and we’re looking for a SHE Co-ordinator to join our Telecoms team based in the Hampshire/Berkshire area.
The main purpose of the SHE Co-ordinator role is to actively support and contribute to improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental practices throughout the Hampshire and Berkshire. Develop and implement systems for assessment and monitoring Kier Health and Safety performance within Telecoms. Support the SHE Manager in implementing & delivery the Company’s Health & Safety Strategy Aims & Objectives. Provide effective systems which interface with the supply chain on Health and Safety matters. Develop and implement systems and initiatives to ensure consistency across Telecoms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor HSE audit and inspection programmes; provision of statistical information to be used as a basis for improvement
- Collation and reporting of data on Health and Safety for contribution to corporate, contract and other reporting requirements
- Monitor safety observations reporting and ensure provision of accurate reports and management information used to promote and improve Health and Safety
- Interface with external bodies on the provision of health and safety information including insurance companies, HE, HSE, EA and Local Authorities
- Assist in the development and implementation of Safety, Health and Environment campaigns
- To act as a key interface with supply chain partners in ensuring Health and Safety information is provided/received in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure accident and incidents are recorded and maintained in a timely and accurate manner
We are seeking candidates who:
- Sound working understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, corporate/client requirements, and best practice
- Working towards or willing to undertake a recognised SHE qualification
- Organised and capable of working with minimal direction
- Full Drivers Licence required
