Health and Safety Strategy and Performance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Strategy and Performance Manager to join a leading infrastructure services business within the South West. Supporting and working closely with the Director of Health and Safety, you will be responsible for a variety of operational and strategic duties that enable to you drive continuous improvement to the Health and Safety culture and performance within the business. Due to the high-level of stakeholder engagement, this position will suit someone with relevant experience that has the passion, enthusiasm, and communication skills to build relationships and deliver a strategy across the company.

The Role:

• Drive and implement the strategy business-wide to aid decision making that will drive long-term, meaningful change.
• Work across various functions and business units
• Deliver a a simple and easy accessible Health and Safety management system that allows all employees to understand policy and drive improvement
• Continually review, manage, and review the Health and Safety management system, being the accountable person within the business
• Support and advise fellow colleagues at a managerial level with matters regarding performance, standards, and compliance

The Candidate:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Forward thinking approach to health and safety and implementing change
• Strong IT skills with experience of documentation and reporting, typically at a board level standard
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Eligible to work in UK
