We are actively seeking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety your primary focus will be on our property maintenance and construction division however we are so much more than the sum of our parts in ODS. Supporting our drive to embed cultural safety maturity and build on our success with all departments within the business is a must.
Health and safety is one of our core values and a top priority for the business. This role is focused on consolidating the excellent work to date and helping to drive and develop the function further.
With a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and graduate status in IOSH, you will have extensive experience in organisations of similar size and complexity and in the disciplines above. A NEBOSH Construction certificate is essential. You will have current working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation related to our service functions, primarily construction and property maintenance and will be an ambassador for H&S techniques and strategies. Sharing your knowledge and expertise whilst ensuring you keep up to date on any changes to policies and procedures is essential. Ideally you will be have experience and competence in the implementation and development of 45001:2018 as we have recently embarked on the journey to accreditation to augment our existing ISO achievements. Line management responsibility is also potentially a facet of this role as we develop the team.
