Health and Safety Manager (6 Month FTC)
Wolverhampton | £55,000 to £60,000 plus Excellent benefits

We're pleased to have been engaged to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to work for a specialist global manufacturer of security products. This role is specifically responsible for a manufacturing and assembly site in the Wolverhampton area. The role will be initially employed on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and the global strategy for health and safety
• Engaging across the site to drive improvement across health and safety
• Auditing health and safety performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
• Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• NEBOSH or NCRQ Diploma and relevant membership of IOSH
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders
• A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation
