3 Month Contract: £500 per day
Location: Wimbledon

We have been engaged to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Manager on a 3 month contract (with potential for extension) who will lead on Group level Health and Safety activities across a global portfolio of sites. The role is working for a well-known manufacturing company.

Responsibilities of the Senior Health and Safety Manager include:

• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the management systems, seeking opportunities to improve and enhance the overall Health and Safety strategy
• Reviewing Health and Safety performance globally, accurately reporting and investigating incidences and near misses
• Leading on project management and framework implementation for the sites within the portfolio

The successful Senior Health and Safety Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within manufacturing, engineering or service related industries
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging key internal and external stakeholders
• A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum - ideally hold or working towards diploma level and membership of a professional body (eg IOSH)
• Experience with process and project management (i.e LEAN) would be advantageous
• Experience with ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001
