Job Details
HSEQ Administrator - construction - Brackley - £25k - working on HS2 providing support to the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality department of a well-established construction subcontractor. Standard office hours 9am-5pm or equivalent.
Purpose of the Role
Provide administrative support for the SHWEQ team, covering development of management systems, inductions and accident and incident reporting.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Operations
To be familiar with the content and to assist in the development and maintenance of the corporate Integrated Management Systems.
To carry out Quality reviews of documentation submitted for inclusion in the Integrated Management Systems.
To coordinate the effective communication of a customer focused Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environment and Quality management systems to interested external parties.
To ensure the appropriate document control of all management systems documents.
To assist in the compilation of the annual audit and assessment schedule.
To catalogue and track the actions generated as a result of Director Safety Tours, ensuring close out of identified opportunities for improvement.
To track and ensure close out of all Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environment and Quality actions.
To attend and contribute to departmental meetings as required.
To provide full administrative support to the SHWEQ department.
To manage the induction database and maintain qualification compliance
To book meeting, train and travel for the SHWEQ team as required
Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes
Minimum
IT literate – Expert MS Office knowledge and skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, including the development and application of templates.
Knowledge of Management Systems.
Knowledge of Document Management Systems.
Desirable
IOSH Managing Safety.
Knowledge and practical application experience of MS Visio.
Knowledge and experience of SharePoint management system.
Personal Attributes
Excellent communication skills.
Customer focus.
Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines.
Self-starter able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
Flexibility, to be able to carry-out duties not part of the normal remit in the interests of the team.
