This is a strategic leadership role, that requires a hands-on approach, and will suit an individual with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.

The Head of Health, Safety & Fire will be responsible for:

- Managing the risk (Health, Safety & Fire) of a number of large, complex sites with a large workforce and interaction with the public.
- Develop, implement and maintain robust, but workable, Health, Safety and Fire programmes - This includes contributing to the wellbeing programme
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure the risk management approach is relevant and workable for the organisation
- Managing and developing a large team of technical professionals - Lead by example, supporting and coaching them as necessary
- Working with key external stakeholders and contactors

The Head of Health, Safety & Fire will have:

- Proven leadership skills in a director, head of, or senior management position
- Strong management skills. There is a sizeable team to mange and develop
- Commercial awareness and the ability to adapt - this is fast-moving arena
- Industry experience from the following sectors would be viable - Property Management, FM. Events, Retail
- Proven H&S qualifications are needed and ideally experience of managing fire safety.
