Permanent QSHE Manager

Your new company
I am currently working with a leading manufacturing organisation who are looking for an experienced QSHE manager to join the business on a permanent basis. The largest manufacturer of their product in the UK, this company sells to customers worldwide and has been established for over 80 years with an exceptional commitment to innovation.

Your new role
You will be responsible for all matters relating to Quality, Health & Safety and environmental across the business and will lead and coordinate work systems to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Management of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Management and investigation of work related incidents and accidents
  • Participate in external audits with BSI, customers and suppliers
  • Full management of the non-conformance database
  • Chair meetings where relevant
  • Manage internal audits
  • Conduct, review and consult on risk assessments
  • Work closely with other business divisions including engineering
  • Actively promote QSHE best practices


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must hold NEBOSH general and have proven experience in a similar role previously within production/manufacturing. You must also have working knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001. My client is looking for a down to earth candidate with excellent problem solving skills and a pragmatic approach to their work. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of QSHE and be experienced in presenting and delivering training.

What you'll get in return
This is a full time, permanent position offering a negotiable salary depending on experience, salary disclosed upon application. Hours of work Monday - Thursday 8 - 5 with an earlier finish on Fridays. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension scheme.
