Environmental Manager – Essex – £60-65K + car

A leading construction company is looking for an Environmental Manager to lead on a major highways project based in Essex.

This is a major project with a 6 year duration and will allow the manager to see the project from design stage through to completion.

This is great opportunity to lead on a major project for a leading player in the market.

The Environmental Manager will be responsible for:

• Working with the SHE Manager and wider team to develop, manage and implement company’s envrionmental management plan
• Assist in the identification of required environmental consents, permits and exemptions
• Influence the design and construction teams to minimise carbon emissions to meet company targets
• Lead on the collation of data for environmental KPI’s
• Assist and undertake advisory visits, inspections and audits

The successful Environmental Manager will have:

• Environmental Degree or equivalent
• PIEMA or equivalent
• Environmental management experience on major constrcution projects
• Driving licence
