Group Health, Safety and Environment Manager
Salary: £ up to £65,000
Location: West or East Midlands
Assured Safety Recruitment have been engaged by an innovative and acquisitional strong firm to appoint a Group Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, for their UK wide manufacturing facilities. There is element of flexibility on your location ideally Midlands. This role forms a key part of the company Senior Leadership Team. You will set and drive company health, safety and environment strategy ensuring health and safety is ingrained and prioritised in everything they do
You will partner with the Leadership Team to develop and deliver the organisations environment strategy, in line with corporate values
You will develop a safety culture based on best practice and develop behavioural safety campaigns and initiatives
You will ensure legal compliance
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Health, Safety and Environment Audit systems and embedding them across the site
You will hold or be working towards a Level 5 or Level 6 Diploma such as NCRQ, Nebosh etc
You will have previously performed a health and safety role within a manufacturing setting ideally on a multi-site basis managing regionally based remote team members.
Environmental skills would be ideal, but not essential.
You will have demonstrable experience of leading and promoting a positive safety culture.
