Health and Saftey Co-Ordinator

Irwin and Colton has been engaged by a well-regarded construction and property services contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Co-ordinator. The company turnover in excess of £190 million and are going through a recruitment drive. This role will be working alongside a team of safety professionals on a range of projects in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

• Implement health and safety policies and procedures on-site, ensuring compliance and staying updated with legislative changes.
• Visit sites and engage with managers, clarifying responsibilities and addressing technical health and safety inquiries.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and accident investigations, continuously seeking opportunities for enhancing safety performance.
• Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders, serving as a key point of contact.

Qualifications

• Preferably, some experience in a health and safety role.
• NEBOSH general certificate or NEBOSH construction
• Strong organisational skills, adept at managing competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
