A great opportunity to join our Poole team as the site Health, Safety and Environment Manager. Reporting into the Head of Health, Safety and Environment with a dotted line to the Site General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the JDR Health and Safety strategy at the Poole site.

 Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility around supporting site out of hours and on weekends when required.

Key Accountabilities

The role will have accountability for the performance of Safety KPIs, driving forward a culture of Safety First.

Helping to ensure that the site is audit ready at all times, you will use excellent peer to peer relationships to achieve objectives.

The right person

You will have a food manufacturing background so you can bring your expertise to life with us as the subject matter expert on safety and environment. You will be confident to tackle deviations from site targets on Health, Safety, Environment, BRCGS and customer standards, working to exceed these standards. You will have a NEBOSH diploma and have or be seeking a Chartered membership of IOSH, as well as an Environmental Management certificate. The ideal candidate may also have food safety/HACCP qualifications or experience and some project management experience.
