Full time/37 hrs a week/permanent

Location: Plumer House, Plymouth

About the role

As Health & Safety Advisor, you would be providing clear, consistent, professional quality health and safety advice across all departments and at all levels of our multi-disciplined organisation. Assist the Health and Safety Manager in the development and delivery of corporate and departmental strategies & projects and assist with the continuous development and maintenance of PCH’s safety management system.

Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:

  • Holds a NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) qualification in occupational safety and health,  
  • Can develop and maintain risk assessments and other elements of safety management systems,
  • Can conduct workplace inspections, investigating accidents and incidents,
  • Has a drive to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions,
  • Has the ability to assist PCH to meet both statutory and non-statutory health and safety obligations.
