Irwin and Colton are pleased to be working with a prestigious Independent school who are seeking a Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator to support their Senior Health & Safety Advisor. This role is essential in maintaining compliance records, overseeing remedial actions, and coordinating health and safety projects within the Estates and Facilities Services.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety, and Compliance Coordinator include:

• Leading compliance projects in fire safety, water and legionella management, and health & safety.
• Delivering basic health and safety training and managing external training logistics.
• Maintaining compliance registers and supporting workplace inspections and audits.
• Assisting in the development and review of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Managing administrative duties, including updating action plans and SharePoint sites.

The successful candidate will have:

• Preferably a Diploma level health and Safety qualification or working towards it

• Experience in a similar role in Health and Safety, ideally within an education environment
• A solid understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
