Junior Health and Safety Advisor | Middlesbrough | Circa £37,000 + Company Car + Excellent Benefits

Irwin and Colton are partnering with one of the world's largest crane companies, seeking to recruit a Junior Health and Safety Advisor to join their existing health and safety team. The role involves working within one of their major depots based in Middlesborough. This position would suit an enthusiastic, passionate, and aspiring safety professional who is keen to develop their career in a forward-thinking and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor include:

• Assisting in documenting and investigating incidents in the workplace
• Advising and helping to deliver improvements in health, safety, and wellbeing performance across the depot
• Auditing, inspecting, and reporting on health and safety performance across sites where required
• Working closely with site teams, constantly assessing opportunities to create solutions for health and safety challenges and sharing best practices across the organisation

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Ideally previous experience within a similar role within construction
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
• Good communication skills
• A passion for health and safety and the drive to progress

This role will be primarily single site based, however will involve occasional travel. A UK Driver's Licence is essential.
