Salary: Up to £70,000 plus benefits

We are pleased to have been engaged by one of the world's leading sports and entertainment organisations who are looking to bring on board a new Senior Health and Safety Advisor. The vacancy is brand new and will play a key part of the business' events and production safety team to ensure all the live production and broadcasting has the right safety systems in place and is streamlined across all events that take place throughout the calendar year. The role will report into the organisation's Health and Safety Lead.

Responsibilities of the Senior Health and Safey Advisor will include:

• Engaging with key stakeholders to drive a positive health and safety culture, from employees right through to contractors attending events
• Leading on the delivery of operational safety protocol; identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function across all events
• To analyse risk across the critical working environment and to create change to mitigate risks
• Ensuring contractors on-sites are compliant to agreed legislation and company guidelines

The successful Senior Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant membership of a professional body
• Proven experience within the media and production industry (television / music is ideal)
• Experience in influencing, engaging, and liaising with senior management to create cultural change on safety
• Strong working understanding of relevant ISO systems (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001)
• Experience dealing with multiple contractors on-site, ensuring they adhere to the safety implemented
