We are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a high profile, leading organisation in the Liverpool area who have over 2000 employees. You will be joining an existing health and safety team with growth, development and collaboration at their hearts. This is your chance to help the company achieve their ambitious health and safety targets and promote a positive health and safety culture.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:

• Promoting a positive Health and Safety culture across the site, seeking best practice at every opportunity
• Supporting site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
• Regularly conducting sites audits and working with key stakeholders to drive health and safety performance
• Supporting on the development and improvement of health and safety standards

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:

• Proven experience in a similar health and safety role with extensive onsite auditing experience
• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IOSH)
• The ability to influence, engage and collaborate with a range of employees and contractors
• An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety and a desire to work within a tight knit team
