Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager
Location: Derby, with Regional site travel
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Plus Company Car, Bonus and Excellent Benefits

We've been engaged by one of the leading integrated waste management companies in the UK to recruit a Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager. The role is focused on promoting a positive health and safety culture and to improve health and safety performance across the company. This is a regional role covering multiple sites with the main office based in the Derbyshire area.
Responsibilities of the Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will include:
- Ensuring the site is compliant with both UK legislation and in line with wider Group strategy for Health, Safety and Environment
- Auditing Health, Safety and Environment performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses
- Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators
- Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health, Safety and Environment performance
- Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems 9001, 140001 and 45001
The successful Senior Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within waste, environmental services or a related industry
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e IOSH)
- The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
